Makes Me Mad = Cell Phones = Radiation = Death
(Good observation, you: By the transitive property of equality, radiation makes me mad.)
I have something against cell phones. I don’t like them, and I don’t like to be around people that are using them. But I must admit–I don’t really have a great reason to back up my position. Maybe I just don’t like being bothered; I don’t know. Anyway, here’s an article from The Independent that made me smile:
Mobile phones could kill far more people than smoking or asbestos, a study by an award-winning cancer expert has concluded. He says people should avoid using them wherever possible and that governments and the mobile phone industry must take “immediate steps” to reduce exposure to their radiation.
(Slow down, you–the article made me smile because it concludes cell phone usage is bad and should be avoided; it didn’t make me smile because cell phone users are going to die.)
But I’m not all gung-ho about this “award-winning cancer expert” behind the study. He says cell phones are bad: Agreed. He says government intervention required: No!
