I hate to brag, but I must say I knew it was only a matter of time before someone — in this case, ABC News — reported this story:

Condoleezza Rice Is Pursuing the VP Spot

“Condi Rice has been actively, actually in recent weeks, campaigning for this,” [Republican strategist Dan Senor] said this morning on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”

People all over the country are excited because they can vote for a woman or a black; just wait until Republicans give them the option of voting for a woman who is black!

What do I know of Condi’s positions? Not much; she’s a pretty quiet girl. But I do know she has more executive experience than Hillary and Obama (and McCain, for that matter) combined. And that’s a good thing.

By the way, I’m not “officially” predicting that Condi will get the VP spot. I’ve been wrong enough times about this election to last for a while. (Rudy in ‘08, all the way!)
